Beatriz Merino: first female head of the PCM
Dr. Beatriz Merino's participation is of greater relevance due to her experience given the high positions she has held in the public sector, where she was elected as the first woman President of the Council of Ministers in 2003; in addition, the Congress of the Republic elected her as Ombudsman in 2005.
In the private sector, she has gained professional experience at the multinational corporation Procter & Gamble and is currently the executive president of César Vallejo University (UCV).
“I have had the honor of representing César Vallejo University as its executive president in the Council of Women World Leaders, which brings together women who have been presidents or prime ministers in their countries. It has been a rich exchange of experiences, leadership and other important aspects for women today”, said Dr. Merino Lucero.
