APEC Peru 2024

The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum brings together 21 global economies from this region, considered one of the most dynamic in the world. The objective of this forum is to promote greater prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region by implementing the so-called “APEC Putrajaya Vision 2020-2040”.

Our country will once again host APEC for the third time in 2024, after having hosted the event in 2008 and 2016. Peru's presence in APEC represents a significant milestone for Peruvian foreign policy, as it has allowed the national economy to consolidate its international projection.
