The Vice-Rectorate of Welfare and University Social Responsibility of the César Vallejo University is the body in charge of directing, conducting and managing projects and activities aimed at implementing university welfare and social responsibility policies, contributing to the improvement of the quality of life and human development of its members and the community in general, under the principles of equity, comprehensive training, inclusive-participatory and continuous improvement.
The Directorate of Academic Support and Student Welfare proposes guidelines based on strategies, functions and indicators to establish communication links between socio-educational actors, in order to accompany the student in their training process and in the progressive construction of a climate of adaptation, acceptance and trust in the current context. It also proposes to enhance the student's relationship with the teacher, the coordinator and the administrative areas that provide the necessary support for their permanence in the educational process.
Likewise, there are the areas of Social Work and Attention to families, implemented to complement the support to students, guiding work actions to their family systems that allow them to develop coexistence skills that favor their academic permanence.
Among the main functions of these areas is: the follow-up and supervision of university insurance, timely attention to special cases, the correct execution of the student retention and recovery program, the allocation of the pension scale, the UCV women program and the family development program.
